For those of you who follow, I set out to challenge myself on July 5th. The premise was easy, workout 20 minutes a day, everyday! I guess I should say, easy or so I thought… In the 13 days since my self inflicted challenge started, I have had a few hiccups! I was off to a great start for the first few days and then birthday week took over in our house and my focus on the challenge started slipping.
Now this can go one of two ways, I can be criticize my inability to meet the challenge or I can pick myself up, dust myself off and start again. I am going to go with the later and start anew! This can be applied to so many things in life, you just have to keep going and remember why you started. No judgement! The whole reason I started this challenge was to focus on me and practice a little more self love. How would I be loving myself if I was beating myself up over missing a few days of workouts?
So I am back at it. Feeling invigorated and having a little extra motivation from wrapping up birthday week for my boys!
