Imagine walking in the footsteps of a kid who has run away from home to escape years of physical abuse, a dangerous human trafficking network, the chaos of life with a drug-addicted parent, or a house overflowing with rage. This is life for so many homeless kids – until they arrive at Covenant House. Across the U.S. and Canada, dedicated men and women are sleeping out for one night, raising critical funds and awareness, to make sure these kids have a safe place to stay at Covenant House every night. My husband is one of those men sleeping out!
Covenant House operates “houses” in 30 cities throughout the US, Canada and Latin America. The funds raised from the sleep out movement help to fund transitional housing, crisis counseling and more. It is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the homeless young people who live at Covenant House.
On November 17, my husband will join other New York area executives and will be sleeping out to show a group of kids unconditional love and absolute respect, showing they care enough to sleep on a piece of cardboard and be uncomfortable for one night for their sakes.
Please support my husband and this incredible cause. The homeless youth in this country need your support. Help in any way you can by following the link below.
